Planning a wedding comes with plenty of questions, and we’re here to make every answer simple. Below, you’ll find the details that help turn your vision into a seamless, unforgettable celebration at the Haley Mansion.
Weddings
Visit Stonington-CT.gov,(http://Stonington-CT.gov) click on Marriage Links and complete the online application. When you are ready to visit in person, call the town clerk’s office to confirm availability. Both parties must be present with photo ID to complete the process. There is a $50 fee.
Yes, we offer free on-site parking for your guests.
Our in-house team provides day-of assistance to ensure everything flows smoothly. If you’re looking for full-scale planning, we’re happy to recommend experienced local planners who know the mansion well.

Yes! The team at Rocks 21 can help you plan the perfect post-wedding after-party. Whether you’re looking for a private space, late-night bites, or signature cocktails, we’ve got you covered.
Yes! Accentuate by CJZ offers discounted rental items in stock and can source most rental items that are not already in the inventory.
We are happy to provide a list of preferred vendors with experience at the mansion. Please reach out to your sales manager for our 2025 vendor list! There is no additional charge to hire a vendor outside of the provided list.
While we love our furry friends, pets are not permitted to stay on the property.
Dogs may attend ceremonies with a handler but must remain outside and be escorted off-site immediately following the ceremony. They are not permitted inside any buildings or event spaces.

We are happy to extend the celebration! Reach out to your sales manager for pricing and options for a post-wedding brunch.
Outside food and beverages are not permitted, with the exception of your wedding cake, which may be sourced from any licensed bakery of your choice.
The complimentary bridal suite is available starting at 9 AM on your wedding day. A continental breakfast menu is available through your sales manager, or enjoy our complimentary hotel breakfast (Monday–Saturday). Please note that outside food and beverages are not allowed in the bridal suite.
If your contract includes a hotel room block, it becomes available as soon as your contract and deposit are processed. Guests can book by calling the inn at 860-536-9604 and mentioning your wedding name. For mansion rooms, please provide a list of guest names by calling the front desk or emailing reservations. Mansion rooms will not be released into your block until we receive that list.
• Candles
All candles must be enclosed in glass (e.g., votives, hurricanes, lanterns).
• Decor Guidelines
No pins, tacks, nails, staples, or any materials that could damage the mansion, arch, draping, or event spaces. Please use twine, zip ties, or similar non-damaging materials.
• Bar Service
No shots are permitted at the bar.
One drink may be served per guest at a time during the reception.
• Additional Policies
Additional guidelines may apply—your coordinator or sales manager will provide the most up-to-date list during your planning process.
• Vendors may begin setup 2–3 hours prior to the event start time. All breakdown and cleanup must be completed within 1 hour after the event concludes. For any vendor-related questions or special requests, please contact your sales manager directly.
• Wedding cakes must be delivered and set up at least 1 hour before the event begins. Please coordinate drop-off details in advance with your sales manager.
Check-in time for the Inn at Mystic and Haley Mansion is 3 PM.
Check-out time for the Inn at Mystic is 11:00 AM and check-out at the Haley Mansion is 10:00 AM.
Yes, we’re happy to hand them out to guests at check-in.
Rooms in the mansion receive priority on our cleaning schedule, and we aim to have them ready by 12 PM. The bride and bridesmaids are welcome to begin using the dining room as early as 9 AM.
No, it is the Bride and Groom's responsibility to make sure the funds are available per your deposit schedule listed in your contract. The credit card on file will be charged unless we are contacted at least 24 hours in advance.
No — we recommend calling or emailing us regularly for updates.
Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the Mansion. However, our team is happy to arrange and deliver any food or drinks purchased from Rocks 21 directly to your suite for your convenience.
